We’ve been buying parts from Tapout Tuning for our 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing for a couple of years now, and every experience we’ve had with them has made us more than happy to keep coming back. Our first Tapout purchase was their carbon fiber radiator cover back in May 2024. Since then, we’ve added their Green high-performance air filters, Velossa Tech dual Big Mouth snorkel kit, and most recently, Tapout downpipes as part of our first major performance build. The Blackwing recently went to Exodus Performance for the Tapout downpipes, Corsa exhaust, BRISK spark plugs, and their Blue Belt custom dyno tuning package. We had been planning this stage of the build for months, and we absolutely love how everything came together.
But Tapout had one more surprise for us. The exact day we picked the Blackwing up from Exodus, I received a shipping notification from Tapout. I hadn’t ordered anything else, so I had absolutely no idea what was coming. 😂 A few days later, a box showed up at our house packed with Tapout goodies including stickers, keychains, a lanyard, wristband, badge, candy, and a bunch of other little extras. Then I noticed the paperwork. Inside was a copy of our original order sheet from April when we purchased the downpipes. The original product information had been crossed out and handwritten in its place was “Blue Belt Tuning,” the tuning package Exodus had just completed on our car. That little detail made the entire thing so much cooler. I honestly don’t know whether Exodus coordinated it with Tapout or Tapout did it completely on their own, but somebody took the time to connect an order we placed months ago with the build our car had just completed and send us a box celebrating it. You just don’t expect that when you buy performance parts.
We’ve purchased multiple products from Tapout over the years and have been nothing but happy with every one of them. From smaller appearance and airflow upgrades all the way to the downpipes now on our tuned Blackwing, they’ve become one of the first places we look when we’re deciding what to do to the car next. It’s also really cool seeing companies within the enthusiast community pay attention to the cars their products end up on and make the experience feel like more than simply ordering parts from a website. You’ve had very happy repeat customers over here for a while now, and considering our track record, I think it’s pretty safe to say this won’t be our last Tapout order either. 😏💙
