- SAE correction factor is the industry standard, adjusting for weather conditions in a realistic and universally accepted manner.
- STD numbers are artificially inflated by 4 to 5%. To convert STD numbers to SAE, multiply by 0.955.
- Uncorrected dyno numbers are not included. That would be like using a tape measure with no markings.
- Hub dyno numbers are excluded, since they typically report substantially higher numbers than dynos that measure at the tires
