At Tapout Tuning we are never satisfied with the status quo. While our Remote Tune alone provides huge gains for your ATS-V’s stock LF4, we know there is still more power to be found. Today we will be focusing on one item in particular: our High Duration Camshaft Package!
Our new billet camshafts have been designed to work in conjunction with the factory timing chains and engine components, so you are only required to replace valvesprings and retainers. We have significantly increased the duration while keeping lift close to factory specifications. During our testing with OEM turbochargers we saw nearly identical gains of 69 whp on 93-octane and 116-octane fuels!
Our camshafts include the proper machining required to drive the mechanical vacuum pumps that are specific to the LF4. The HPFP lobe also has increased lift to boost your HPFP volume by approximately 25%. Combine these camshafts with a custom tune to match and you won’t believe the difference it makes!
