Timothy from Georgia just purchased a used ATS-V. It already had a competitor’s tune and was only making 6 pounds of boost. After installing our intercooler fill/bleed kit the boost returned, but the car was misfiring under boost. Timothy scheduled an appointment with us and drove up to Ohio. We found that the spark plugs were gapped too wide and didn’t have any dielectric grease. Correcting the spark plugs resolved the misfire, but the intercooler fill valve/port was leaking. We see many failures of these, so of course we keep them in stock. Once the fill port was replaced we were able to get a baseline dyno run and found the car was making 458 peak whp. After our custom tuning, we increased this to 502 whp. Timothy loves how the car feels now, and is already planning to come back and visit us again for his upgrade to Purple Belt.
