We just completed a CT4-V Blackwing Purple Belt Performance Package installation and custom dyno tuning for John from New York. Using our soon to be released Tapout Tuning module, we produce a much smoother powerband than any other tuning device for these cars. We also compensate properly for the carbon fiber intake lid, circumventing DTC P0171, P0174 and P1400.
We’ve completed multiple CT4-V Blackwing Performance Packages with our Tapout Tuning Module (TTM) and have been very happy with the results it’s provided. We’re continuing in-house testing with the TTM to ensure everything is perfect before we ship them out globally as we are limited to what parameters we have access to remotely.
Seven different calibration maps are stored on the TTM that can be switched on the fly in just a few seconds using the no charge cell phone app. So in John’s case, if he is low on methanol, he can simply change his calibration map to non-methanol, and then he’s good to go on regular pump gas! With seven total maps, John is covered no matter what!
