When paired with the proper cam your fuel system will flow 64% more volume than stock! That means more horsepower, more torque, and more records for your ATS-V. Tapout Tunes of the Week!

We get excited every time someone tells us they’ve never had one of their cars tuned before. What at first may seem like a daunting task suddenly turns to joy and exhilaration when customers realize just how easy it is to turn their ATS-V into a complete animal.

This week we have two customers from New Jersey who had no prior tuning experience when they found Tapout. After spending some time working with us they both felt like they had a completely new ATS-V. Al went on to say, “I went from 13 psi to 19-20 psi. On hard launch, the car spins the tires in the first three gears. The transmission snaps into gear now, with no more hesitation”. Love to hear it!

Paul was just as happy with the boost in performance and our service, “Scott was there every step of the way. His knowledge, customer service, responsiveness, and patience are second to none”. Tapout Tuning Tears up the ATS-V Records!

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again. We could not be more proud of how our TEAM works together to make things happen.

Yesterday at Silver Dollar Raceway, Robbie Kern ran 10.716 @ 128.4 mph on 93-octane pump gas. We don’t believe anyone has ever been close to this time before without higher octane. Glenn Woods was hoping for tens, and ran 10.634 @ 127.69 mph on the stock fuel system and at full weight. Heather Swihart set a new personal best time of 10.570 @ 128.91 mph, becoming the quickest and fastest female ATS-V driver. Scott Cook, who is still learning to drive, ran 10.444 @ 137.01 mph. Jorge Munoz ran 10.328 @ 131.47 mph for a new personal best. Teddy Knisely sheared off his driveshaft bolts on the first pass. By the time he patched together a solution, he only had time for one more pass. That turned out to be enough for a new ATS-V world record time of 9.816 @ 138.83 mph.

Congratulations to everyone on your new personal bests. I’m excited to see what we can do over the next couple months in better air.

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, we don’t take shortcuts when it comes to tuning your ATS-V. Our Remote Tune process is methodical and thorough to ensure safe, reliable power every time you go for a drive.

Chris in Ontario was pleased with our attention to detail as well as the variety of parts we have to offer.
