The Best an ATS-V Can Be!

One of the exciting aspects of tuning is that there is always more to learn. New information becomes available and we learn better ways to improve efficiency and performance. Many of our customers benefit from this new information through the use of our Tuning Subscriptions. These provide access to our tuning services which include scan data analysis, performance modification, racing recommendations and tuning adjustments.

Dave, our customer and friend from California recently purchased a Remote Tune and has gained access to our most recent tuning advancements. We completed his tune using a local dyno with wideband logging through HP Tunes VCM Scanner to maximize the performance of his ATS-V. Prior to his recent dyno tune, the car has run a best quarter mile time of 10.776 @ 127.73 mph. Dave’s current modifications include intake, methanol injection, spark plugs and exhaust with catalytic converters still in place. His car is an absolute powerhouse, and there’s nothing we enjoy more at Tapout than taking ATS-V’s to the next level. Jorge Keeps Raising the Bar!

At Tapout Tuning it’s always our goal to make your ATS-V the best it can be. We do this according to your wants and needs so your individual car is tuned just to your liking. Jorge from Florida wanted to go fast, and we have helped him do just that.

We want to congratulate Jorge for pushing the envelope even further in the Stock Category of the official Quarter Mile Times and beating his previous first place record! His 2016 ATS-V has no modifications, no weight reductions and is still running on stock tires. He has a Tapout Remote Tune only. His new personal best is now nearly three tenths of a second quicker and three mph faster than second place. His new best time is 11.479 seconds @ 121.80 mph. Way to go Jorge!

Tapout Tune of the Week!

Mark from New York was somewhat apprehensive about getting a remote tune for his car. Because of that he thought he would be safe going with one of the large tuning competitors. With this competitor’s remote tune Mark’s car had a rough idle, safety features removed and a check engine light that would not go away.
