Our friend Jason has been continually improving his daily driver ATS-V every year, and 2024 is no exception. As impressed as he was with Purple Belt power, it never hurts to have a little more. After driving his car from Chicago to the Tapout Tuning shop, we installed our complete Brown Belt Performance Package. We also added some extra goodies like a full set of DeWitt’s intercooler heat exchangers to help out with the track days Jason enjoys.

After completing our in-house dyno tuning, Jason’s car put down 720 whp; nearly 100 whp more than he made with the Purple Belt Package!

Our friend Franz has been to the Tapout Tuning shop on many occasions and this time he was back to push his Brown Belt ATS-V even further. When he was last here, we had the boost dialed back a bit to keep his Stage 1 LPFP within a completely safe operating range. He does not run methanol injection, so we have less fuel to work with in his application. To remedy that, we installed a DSX Auxiliary LPFP so we could safely push his turbos further than before.

Franz also had us install the ATI Super Damper for even more quality and protection. After completing the tuning on the dyno, Franz’s car put down a very strong 756 whp. This car is a riot to drive especially with the M6 transmission!

This customer is a great friend of ours and ever since he picked up his wicked clean ATS-V he’s felt the need for speed! While keeping the exterior completely flawless, he’s also been going at a rate of one Performance Package a year. And that’s a good pace to keep!

He had us install the Mace Stage 1 cams and springs last fall so this summer it was time to make the full leap to Brown Belt with a set of Pure Stage 2 Plus turbos. Our V-Series Cadillac Guru Jorge was on the job and a few days later it was time to get this ATS-V strapped to the dyno. After completing a custom Flex Fuel Tune, we got to work on the Kill Tune and this thing is KICKING ASS. It’s putting down 751 whp / 726 wtq and it absolutely rips!

Not only that, we capped wastegate duty cycle at 85% since he is still running stock injectors and is not running methanol injection. We could push these turbos further, but we’re tuning for performance AND reliability.
