John’s Crystal White Frost ATS-V on the Dyno!

Next up on the Tapout dyno is John’s 2016 Crystal White Frost ATS-V. This rare car is only one of 31 in this paint scheme and man is it gorgeous! John came in from Michigan for our Purple Belt Performance Package because he was looking to go full send, and why would you not?

We set him up to run E47 fuel with our fully automatic flex fuel tune. After doing some refining on the dyno the car put down 602 whp and 665 wtq! This is a tune John can drive every day and not have to worry about what E blend he’s running. Our Flex Fuel Tune will automatically adjust to safely run the mixture in your tank so you can just focus on driving. That’s peace of mind and performance in your back pocket. It’s hard to beat that.

Six ATS-Vs at the Tapout Tuning Shop!

This week we’ve got more than a full house at the Tapout Tuning Shop. Currently we have six ATS-Vs in for work from Ohio, Georgia (2) Florida, Minnesota, and Tennessee! The amount of horsepower we have in our shop is astounding, and we’ve still got more tuning to do!

We have customers ship their cars to us from all over the country so it’s not a problem if you want to ship yours too! Tapout Tune with Stock Turbos in the Nines!

Congratulations to Manny De La Cruz for hitting a nine second quarter mile pass at Cecil County Dragway on Saturday! He went 9.998 @ 136.06 mph in 227’ density altitude air.

Manny is running our Tapout Purple Belt Performance Package and some weight reduction. Still has OEM cams, valvesprings, turbos, front wheels and tires, driver’s seat, battery, front and rear brakes, and driveshaft. We’re excited to see how deep into the nines Manny can go with some serious weight reduction and negative density air.

The Justins’ ATS-V on the Dyno!

From day one the Tapout Tuning shop has been full of activity. Whether one of our Performance Packages is being installed or we’re completing an in-house Dyno tune, there are no limits to what can be achieved here.

Recently, a customer drove his ATS-V in from Georgia for our Purple Belt Performance Package, in addition to the new Caddy Issues turbochargers and Tapout Stage 2 cams and springs. After completing the installation of all these killer go-fast parts we put this monster on our Dyno to see what it could do. On E87 fuel using the industry standard SAE correction factor this ATS-V put down 744 whp and 816 wtq! This is the most torque EVER produced by and LF4 engine and the area under the curve is incredible.

Take a look at the Dyno chart and notice how the torque and/or horsepower remained above 700 all the way from 4,000 to 6,800 rpm! The engine block, rotating assembly, and cylinder heads are all still stock so we do have to tip our hats to GM for providing such an excellent base to build this kind of power from. Who knows how far we will take the next ATS-V!
