You hear us talk about ATS-Vs, but we can’t forget that the Cadillac CTS-V Sport has a great deal of tuning potential as well. And if you can get yours on a dyno, we can squeeze out even more power.

In one of latest remote dyno tune sessions, we worked with our friends at Exodus Performance as Rob was looking to add a little more spice to his 2016 CTS-V Sport. After tuning, his power was increased to 429 whp and 451 wtq, not to mention a superbly improved power band. We’re sure Rob is out tearing it up on the streets as we speak!

Another week, another Brown Belt Performance Package installed. This time it was for our friend Eldon, who came to this platform after drag racing his badass Grand National for many years. He was at the Tapout shop last year for us to install our Purple Belt Package, and after a great deal of success at his local drag strip, he was back for more.

This time around, we installed our Caddy Issues turbos, Mace Stage 1 camshafts, valve springs and titanium retainers, ARP head studs, Tapout Carbon Fiber Intake and Tapout Cat-Back Exhaust System. After getting Eldon’s car on our dyno, his ATS-V put down a beautiful powerband peaking at 713 whp. We know he’s going to have a lot of fun at the track again this year!

Last year we tuned Randy’s CTS-V Sport and he picked up nearly 100 whp in parts of the powerband. He drives his cars all over the country and was thrilled to have this newfound power available.

Then, this year Randy made the decision to upgrade to an ATS-V. He found one in Florida, drove it all the way back to Kentucky, and then on to Tapout Tuning so we could install our Blue Belt Performance Package. And this is all with temporary tags still on the car! It was a similar story here as we added an additional 100 whp to his ATS-V’s powerband! We also have to mention this is one of the cleanest ATS-Vs we’ve ever seen, Randy really knows how to detail! Of course, that won’t stop him from continuing to drive his cars all across the country. We know he has many thousands of miles to look forward to.

Often times, ATS-Vs are purchased with tunes already on the car. In some cases it’s sufficient for the needs of the driver, but other times you just know your ATS-V is capable of far more.

Jose from Texas worked with our friends at Exodus Performance when he picked up his new to him ATS-V. There was already a tune and intake installed, so they completed a baseline dyno pull, and then installed our complete Purple Belt Performance Package. After getting Jose’s ATS-V back on the dyno, peak power was increased from 450 whp to 615 whp and from 475 wtq to 614 wtq! Now that’s what we call a win!

Last year our friend Kurt drove his M6 ATS-V to our shop for us to complete a full Purple Belt Performance Package with Mace Stage 1 cams, springs, and retainers. He loved how the car performed and he was driving it every chance he got!

This year, he shipped his ATS-V back to us from Tennessee for even more mods. You can never have enough power right? So we installed ARP head studs, Caddy Issues turbos and got him back on the dyno as a newly upgraded Brown Belt Performance Package ATS-V. After we completed the dyno tuning he made 706 whp with an absolutely beautiful powerband! We know Kurt will be having even more fun this summer leaving everyone else in the dust!
