Testing and development continues on our ATS-V Black Belt Performance Package. We started out by setting the new world records of 836 whp and 8.77 seconds in the quarter mile at Cadillac Attack in January 2023. In the last six months we’ve made 40 dyno pulls above 800 whp and today we have new we have a new record of 1,009 whp! Check out how peak power continues to climb, all the way past 7,000 rpm!

Scott from New York had already run 9.92 @ 139 mph in the quarter mile. This was done in the summer heat with density altitude of ~ 2,500’. However, like all of us, he wanted more. He brought his Brown Belt 2018 ATS-V back for methanol injection as supplemental fueling, and we were able to turn up the wick just a little bit more. Scott now has 42 more whp than before and is no longer running on the ragged edge of his fuel system capacity. We expect 9.70s from Scott as he continues to improve his launches. And mid nines should be possible in really good air late this fall.

Davor drove in from Connecticut to have install the very popular Blue Belt Performance Package.  Even with 80,000 miles on the odometer, this car put down a really nice powerband, peaking at 535 whp!  He also opted to have us install the coveted Tapout Tuning windshield banner and trunk emblems, which we include at no charge for all customers purchasing any of our performance packages.

Our friend Jon has been Tapout Tuned for the last three years. However, we had never done a dyno tune before and he wanted to get his powerband dialed in as well as possible. So he stopped in during his summer vacation and we knocked out a custom dyno tune for him. Now his powerband looks as perfect as his ultra clean ATS-V!

Ryan brought his 2022 CT4-V Blackwing M6 down from Michigan for our White Belt Performance Package, plus resonated downpipes. We did the installation work, including the soon to be released Tapout Tuning Module (TTM). Ryan now has seven different calibrations ranging from 411 to 512 whp. He can switch tunes in a few seconds via his cell phone app.
