Steven from Ohio decided to upgrade from Blue to Purple Belt now that we have HP Tuners access to the Global B ECMs. The results speak for themselves. He doesn’t just hit his peak power number for 50 or 100 rpm. Instead, his car now carries 600 plus whp all the way from 5,200 to 5,900 rpm. No other tuning company come close to the LF4 knowledge and experience of Tapout, and that’s why our powerbands are simply the best.

Another week, another Purple Belt Performance Package installed by the team at Exodus Performance. David upgraded from Blue to Purple Belt, and was able to put down an impressive 603 whp, even in the Texas heat. How’s this for a picture perfect tune!?

Franz shipped his M6 Purple Belt ATS-V to the Tapout Tuning shop so he could upgrade to the Mace Stage 1 cams, springs and retainers. After completing the dyno tuning, Franz’s car produced an incredible powerband making 608 whp! Even more impressive is how strong his powerband is past 7,000 rpm! This car is going to be an absolute riot to drive on the street and we know Franz is going to have a very fun ride home. #savethemanuals!

Our friend Johnny drove in from Massachusetts to upgrade from Blue to Purple Belt. Even with catted downpipes, we were able to hit 602 whp and 632 wtq. Notice the big power dropoff above 6,000 rpm. This is a classic sign of weak valve springs on this 89,000 mile engine. We went ahead and reduced Johnny’s rev limiter and shift points for now to help keep things as safe as possible. At some point in the future, we will want to upgrade the valve springs on this car.

This customer was here just three months ago for a Purple Belt Package but just couldn’t wait any longer to upgrade to the Brown Belt Performance Package! After we installed Pure Stage 2 Plus turbos, ARP head studs, and few other supporting mods we strapped his car down to the dyno to really turn things up. His 2018 ATS-V left the Tapout Tuning Shop with 708 whp and 656 wtq! He plans to be back soon for methanol injection so we can push those turbos even further.
