Our good friend Paul from Ohio recently purchased a beautiful 2018 ATS-V A8 sedan with only 10,000 miles. With temporary tags still on the car, we installed our Purple Belt Performance Package. A few months later we added the new Tapout carbon fiber cold air intake and did some additional fine tuning. Current results are 638 whp and 681 wtq (SAE) and 650 whp and 694 wtq (STD). Check out how this car has progressed since it’s first visit to Tapout headquarters:
• Previous tune in Tour mode = 364 whp and 421 wtq on 93 octane pump gas
• Previous tune in Track mode = 372 whp and 420 wtq on 93 octane pump gas
• Flashed back to stock tune = 391 whp and 424 wtq on 93 octane pump gas
• Purple Belt Performance Package with K&N filters = 518 whp and 561 wtq on 93 octane pump gas
• Purple Belt Performance Package with K&N filters = 569 whp and 575 wtq on E42 fuel
• Purple Belt Performance Package with K&N filters = 614 whp and 645 wtq on E60 fuel with some additional boost and timing advance
• Purple Belt Performance Package with Tapout cold air intake and more tuning on E60 fuel = 638 whp and 681 wtq
• Became first ever ATS-V to run nine second quarter mile passes in the True Street category!

Our good friend Manny from Pennsylvania recently set the record for the quickest and fastest ATS-V running stock turbochargers. He was running extremely popular Purple Belt Performance Package with Stage 2 cams, which produced peak power of 635 whp and resulted in a quarter mile time of 9.69 @ 139 mph with weight reduction.

Manny had his ATS-V coupe shipped to us wanting more power. We installed ARP head studs and the killer Caddy Issues turbochargers, upgrading to our Brown Belt Performance Package, and the car picked up 100 whp! Peak power is now 735 whp and 701 wtq with the turbos turned down some for increased safety and reliability margin. Stay tuned to see what @mannyinthev can do now!

Rob from Texas brought his 2016 CTS V-Sport to our partners at Exodus Performance in Texas for a custom dyno tune. After tuning, this was increased to 429 whp and 451 wtq, with a much improved power band as well.

Jake from Michigan drove in for a custom dyno tune. He had previously installed most of the Blue Belt Performance Package mods himself, with the exception of the Gigs ported throttle body. This beautiful M6 coupe riding on 20” custom wheels produced an excellent powerband with 526 peak whp.

Our good friends at Exodus Performance in Austin, Texas installed our Purple Belt Performance Package on Todd’s ATS-V and we did a remote flex fuel dyno tune, which will automatically compensate for any fuel between E0 and E70. Stock baseline numbers on this car were 400 whp and 406 wtq. After mods and tuning, peak numbers were 621 whp and 641 wtq, for net gains of 221 whp and 235 wtq!
