This customer is a good friend of ours and ever since they picked up their wicked clean ATS-V they’ve felt the need for speed! While keeping the exterior completely flawless, he’s also been going at a rate of one Performance Package a year. And that’s a good pace to keep!

He had us install the Mace Stage 1 cams and springs last fall so this summer it was time to make the full leap to Brown Belt with a set of Pure Stage 2 Plus turbos. Our V-Series Cadillac Guru Jorge was on the job and a few days later it was time to get this ATS-V strapped to the dyno. After completing a custom Flex Fuel Tune, we got to work on the Kill Tune and this thing is KICKING ASS. It’s putting down 751 whp / 726 wtq and it absolutely rips!

Not only that, we capped wastegate duty cycle at 85% since he is still running stock injectors and is not running methanol injection. We could push these turbos further, but we’re tuning for performance AND reliability.

This customer from Maryland loves driving his cars and his M6 CT4-V Blackwing is no exception. With nearly 80,000 miles on the clock, this is certainly one of the higher mileage Blackwing’s that we’ve seen.

He completed our Blue Belt Performance Package installation as well as Swift Springs in his garage at home, but wanted to make a visit to the shop to get it strapped down to our dyno. With EPA catted downpipes, this CT4-V Blackwing put down 492 whp and 492 wtq! That’s quite an impressive combination for a car and no doubt has made his travels far more exciting!

And did we mention he wasn’t a fan of the downpipes installation? The way his gloves landed after he finished the job and tossed them down says it all!

This customer wanted to crank up the power on his low mileage ATS-V A8 coupe. With only spark plugs, Gigs ported throttle body and EPA catted downpipes, final Dyno numbers were 502 whp!

That’s impressive considering the minimal mods and the fact that he is running catted downpipes. We know these power gains will certainly make a huge difference on the street!

Dashaun brought his car in from Michigan for us to install a ported supercharger, smaller pulley, and catted headers. During dyno tuning, we noticed it was not making nearly as much power as it should have.

After some diagnosis, we found that the car’s intercooler pump appeared to be weak.  Even though the pump seemed to be operating and the system was properly filled and bled, the original pump was not flowing properly.  With a new pump installed, this car produced an excellent powerband, peaking at 684 WHP with cats!

This customer came in for a custom dyno tune, colder spark plugs, and to have us install a Caddy Issues intercooler reservoir. And good thing too because it was 97 degrees in the shop this day!

Despite the heat, and this ATS-V running stock downpipes, it still put down an impressive 477 whp! It’s great to know that even on scorching hot days like this, a Tapout Tuned ATS-V can still put the power to the ground!
