Is there much that I have to say? Getting my 2020 Cadillac CT5-V tuned by Tapout Tuning has been a great experience for me looking back these past two weeks. I know it is his job, but Scott has been very pleasant to work with. On the customer service side of things, you will surely be as pleased as I am. Now on the performance side, holy moly has it been a huge difference from what it used to be. I’m currently working on scheduling time on a dyno, but from what I can feel in the driver seat the car has definitely awakened. Whether you are doing 0-60s or flooring it to pass those Civics in the wrong lane, you feel your whole body get pushed back into the seat. During the tuning process we tried many different configurations to see how this platform can perform and I’ll have to say that they all were good. From getting just the ECM tuning to getting both ECM and TCM tuned, I feel confident that it is possible for Tapout to fine the tune that you are comfortable with.

Just wanted to take a second and say how impressed I’ve been with Tapout. I tuned my ATS-V about six weeks ago and she’s been doing fantastic!  Different car since the tune but during the 4 of July Tapout had a sale and I picked up the Gigs Performance Ported Throttle Body which really helps with the throttle response.  But what makes Tapout stand out from the rest, is that when I called and asked about buying another tune to incorporate the throttle body, Scott just gave me the tune with no additional cost. That’s customer service! that cannot be beat!  The throttle body is fantastic, the install took a lot longer than expected because of the location.  I’m very glad I went with Tapout!

Just wrapped up our first three tunes with an unlocked ECM on my CT4-V Blackwing and the results are awesome! The performance is consistent and predictable and it absolutely rips! Can’t wait to get it to the track. Scott was available day and night and often worked with me late into the evening to get the tunes dialed in.

I purchased the Tapout White Belt Package in February, but I wasn’t ready to have it installed. Tapout allowed me time to get my exhaust and downpipes installed prior to adding their tune. I’m not in Ohio so I used one of Tapout’s preferred tuners local to me. After the install of my parts I called Tapout who walked me through the process prior to heading to my tuner.

The White Belt package is advertised to produce 450 to 500 whp. Well we landed at 493 whp with 560 torque. I paid for more hp and Tapout delivered! Extremely happy with the entire experience. Scott and his crew were so responsive and understanding of a guy who has never done anything like this before. No check engine lights, no issues, just an amazing experience for my wonderful Cadillac. I will return for at least one more tuning belt upgrade. Tapout already helped me with deciding on one more upgrade so I can get between 550 and 600 whp. I can’t wait for round two!

I recently purchased a 2016 ATS-V A8 white coupe. I wanted that extra torque and HP that everyone was talking about from Tapout Tuning. I was impressed with the different performance gain packages that were offered. Each package gain was supported with dyno pull charts. I would not be doing any dyno tunes so I would rely on owner Scott Cook to do a remote tune. I chose the Blue Belt package. We can all see the torque and hp improvement numbers, but what you typically don’t see behind those numbers is the professionalism, passion, and commitment to Performance and Customer Service as demonstrated by Scott Cook and his team. Scott responded to me in near realtime during the tuning process. I felt a personal touch, not just being a customer number, while working with Scott. This level of Customer Service is the benchmark against which all others should be judged. Above all, the Tapout Blue Belt Package far exceeds my street driving expectations!  Age truly doesn’t matter, I’m 73 years old and still having fun!
