Tapout Tune of the Week!

This week’s Remote Tapout Tune comes all the way from the United Arab Emirates. Suhail was looking for more power and better sound out of his ATS-V, so he ordered our downpipes and Remote Tune because he knew that was exactly what he needed to really get things cooking.

Tapout Stage 2 Valvesprings and Retainers!

LF4/LF3 engines start to experience valve float around 6,000 rpm at high boost levels. Stronger valvesprings will eliminate this problem, in addition to allowing larger aftermarket camshafts to be run safely.

Our Tapout Stage 2 Valvesprings and Retainers kit are the perfect drop-in replacements to solve this and require no modification to your cylinder heads. These kits were developed in conjunction with Cal Smith of Caddy Issues and will work perfectly with our Tapout Stage 2 camshafts.

However, if you would just like to update your valvesprings, our Stage 2 kit will also work just fine with your OEM cams or our Mace Stage 1 cams. Our Good Friend Brian’s Dyno Tune!

Our good friend Brian drove in to the Tapout Tuning Headquarters all the way from Florida for a carbon fiber driveshaft and custom dyno tune. He has been running our Purple Belt Performance Package for nearly a year and really wanted to maximize his power.

Brian was actually our very first dyno tune customer in May 2018 before we had our own dyno. At that time Brian’s ATS-V made 477 whp on our standard Tapout Tune. Fast forward to today and Brian’s car made 612 whp and 627 wtq using SAE correction on E72 fuel! We’ve come a long way in those three years and we continue to improve every day.

Great Turnout for our Tapout Dyno Day!

Our 2021 Dyno Day was a huge success and we want to thank everyone who made it out! It was a day full of tuning, conversation and great friends who all share a passion for the ATS-V! And we had friends and their ATS-Vs drive all the way from Florida, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Ohio!

It was great to have so many ATS-Vs together in one spot because in Ohio you just don’t seem to see them very often. We shared stories, discussed mods, tuning, future plans and had some good ole fashioned BBQ together. It’s amazing the comradery that builds between people working towards a common goal. We all want the ATS-V platform to continue to advance and it’s thanks to this amazing community that we have been able to make this happen!
