There is no limit to how far Tapout Tuning can reach. We’d tune an ATS-V on the moon if someone figured out how to get one there. In the meantime, we just had our first Remote Tune customer from France.

Pierre was looking for improved performance and Dragy times with his ATS-V. We hooked him up with a set of our downpipes and after some time working with him we had his V completely dialed in. We were really happy with how things turned out, especially since Pierre  wasn’t familiar with this process when we started. “This is my first remote tune. I gained three seconds at 60 to 130 mph just with downpipes and tune on 93 octane. I am 200% satisfied and I discovered a new car”.

France isn’t quite as far as the moon, but it just goes to show that no matter where you are in the world Tapout Tuning has got your back!

Paul’s White Belt Performance Package!

It’s always a treat to work on an ATS-V that’s bone stock and hasn’t had any work done to it whatsoever. It reminds us just how far we’ve come with this platform and why we enjoy working on these cars so much.

Paul drove down from Michigan to have us install our complete White Belt Performance Package and got to see just how much of a difference it makes from stock. After installing new spark plugs, our intercooler fill/bleed kit and giving his car a thorough once over it was time for the tuning to begin.

With some time on the Dyno, Paul’s newly Tapout Tuned ATS-V made 472 whp and 481 wtq SAE with stock catalytic converters. The overall gains from the tune only were 60 to 70 whp and wtq in the mid-range! His car produced a beautiful powerband , and after a test drive we could tell Paul was thrilled with the results. David’s Purple Belt Performance Package Dyno Tune!

If you own an ATS-V, chances are you try and drive it every chance you get. For a car that can be a daily driver it’s almost too much fun. Whether you’re driving to work or on a trip, you know you’re going to have a great time getting there.

David from Illinois decided he wanted to make the fun drive to the Tapout Tuning Headquarters after he purchased and installed our Purple Belt Performance Package. He knew our custom in-house Dyno tune was the final step to making BIG power in his ATS-V. After we spent some time working our magic David’s car made a very impressive 639 whp and 650 wtq using the industry standard SAE correction factor!

Needless to say, David had an even more fun drive home and let us know he’d be back soon for upgraded cams and springs!

There are many reasons people purchase an ATS-V, one of which is that they just outperform so many other cars on the market. And once they’re tuned, there’s almost nothing on the road that can touch them.

Kurt’s Purple Belt Performance Package!

Kurt made the trip to the Tapout headquarters in his M6 ATS-V for our complete Purple Belt Performance Package plus Mace Stage 1 valvesprings, retainers and camshafts. He had been driving his V stock for a while so we knew he was in for a real treat once we were finished with the installation.

On our 93 octane pump gas tune the car made 552 whp and 531 wtq using the industry standard SAE correction factor. On his flex fuel tune running E47 it produced 620 whp and 657 wtq with SAE correction factor. Check out how the powerband is almost completely flat, even at 7,000 rpm! When we took Kurt out on his first test drive he was all smiles, and we know he’s looking for every chance to drive his ATS-V he can get!
