Tapout Tuning Purple Belt Package Installation!

We’re always after the biggest horsepower and torque gains while keeping our tunes safe and reliable. Our Performance Packages are a convenient and affordable way to get those gains to you, and we let the cars do the talking:

  • Brian installed our Purple Belt Package last month and ran 10.90 @ 127.2 mph on his very first quarter mile pass earlier this week.
  • Eldon installed our Purple Belt Package last week and ran 7.03 @ 101.6 mph at an eighth mile track on Wednesday.
  • D’Angelo just purchased his 2016 ATS-V and has us install the Purple Belt Package in our shop while he still had the temporary tags on the car this Thursday.

The Purple Belt Package allows you to safely run E0 to E60 fuel, with the tune automatically adjusting air/fuel ratio and timing advance. It’s a safe, convenient, and consistent way to turn your ATS-V into a ten second beast. Safety is a topic we often like to discuss. We’re not talking about seatbelts and airbags, but the safety of your LF4 engine. It’s easy to crank things up to 11 on your ATS-V but that comes at a cost. There are a million little things you might never even think of that are critical to the health and longevity of your LF4 engine.

Before we ever make a single change to your ATS-V we do an initial scan to make sure everything is functioning properly. It’s only then that we begin adding horsepower, and incrementally so to ensure that no undue strain is put on your engine. Aubrey in North Carolina was pleased with our procedure and its instilled confidence that we were doing things the right way. “Scott truly is the Most Valuable Tuner (MVT) in my eyes. His tuning capabilities and knowledge of the platform are second to none.
