Cadillac V-Invitational 2020!

We had a great time at the Cadillac V-Invitational in Texas this weekend. Mike Franks and the Cadillac V-Club sure do know how to host a first class event!

Just like last weekend in Florida, everyone on our team pitched in. We had team members like John Williamson and Tim Jarvis come in from as far away as Minnesota to assist and hang out. All of us worked together to make each other better and achieve our personal goals. We had fun in the sun, broke many personal bests and then raised hell at a local cantina.

The 12.00 index ATS-V daily driver class was won by Zachary Styacich (stock) with a 12.03 time. He is looking forward to upgrading to a Tapout tune later this week.

The 11.50 index ATS-V street racer class was won by Dynamo Hum (Tapout) with an 11.60 pass. Runner up was Cal Smith (Tapout). Cal made two passes in the 10.95 to 10.99 range and became the eleventh Tapout tuned ATS-V to run tens. This was his first time at the track with this car, and he has only recently started to make modifications. Stay tuned!

The 10.50 index ATS-V pro mod class was won by Michael Ray Franks (Tapout) with an 10.60. Runner up was Brian Chrestoff (Tapout). Michael ran four passes in the 10.60 to 10.66 range. He is now ranked as the #3 quickest ATS-V, which is even more impressive given his race weight of 4,125 pounds!

Tapout Tune of the Week!

One of the many fun aspects of Tapout is that we get a chance to work with people who aren’t familiar with Remote Tuning and how simple the process really is. Whether your ATS-V is heavily modified or bone stock, we have the experience to dial in your car just the way you like it.

Jeff from Texas had some reservations about using our Remote Tuning services but after we had begun the process all his worries were put to rest. “I was a bit worried about working with a remote tuner, but Scott has by far exceeded my expectations. Cadillac Attack 2020!

Where do I even start? I am so proud of our team!

Tapout team members took home all $3,000 in ATS-V prize money at the 2020 Cadillac Attack event in Orlando this weekend.

First place in the ATS-V bracket race went to John J Kelly and Jorge Munoz was runner up.

First place in the ATS-V All Out division went to Teddy Knisely and Nelson Ford was runner up.

Ted now owns the second quickest ATS-V on the planet after laying down two incredibly strong passes today of 10.578 and 10.579.

I really enjoyed hanging out with everyone, and absolutely loved seeing the level of teamwork and camaraderie. We all had a great time and we worked together as a team to make sure everyone did as well as possible.

Others may match our tunes or quarter mile times. But no one can touch how we treat each other.

One of our goals at Tapout Tuning is to get you up and running with your new Remote Tune as soon as possible. We work diligently to make sure this happens, still giving careful attention to all the safety features within the tune that will keep your ATS-V tearing it up on the street for years to come.

Mike in Florida was eager to make some serious gains with his ATS-V after he bought it and was very happy with how quickly we were able to accomplish that. “In one day Scott had my car running like a champ. Let me repeat, the entire back and fourth process took a few hours (including three rounds of logging).” Of course just because we got his tune completed quickly doesn’t mean we made any sacrifices as Mike said, “shifting is on point. Lightning fast, solid, tire chirping shifts.” Hey everybody loves a good tire chirping, we shy would you settle for anything less in your own ATS-V!
