Tapout Tuning High Duration Camshafts Package!

At Tapout Tuning we are never satisfied with the status quo. While our Remote Tune alone provides huge gains for your ATS-V’s stock LF4, we know there is still more power to be found. Today we will be focusing on one item in particular: our High Duration Camshaft Package!

Our new billet camshafts have been designed to work in conjunction with the factory timing chains and engine components, so you are only required to replace valvesprings and retainers. We have significantly increased the duration while keeping lift close to factory specifications. During our testing with OEM turbochargers we saw nearly identical gains of 69 whp on 93-octane and 116-octane fuels!

Our camshafts include the proper machining required to drive the mechanical vacuum pumps that are specific to the LF4. The HPFP lobe also has increased lift to boost your HPFP volume by approximately 25%. Combine these camshafts with a custom tune to match and you won’t believe the difference it makes!

We have all learned just how complicated the inner workings  of the ATS-V are. It’s in a league all its own, so even the most experienced tuners can struggle with this car if they’ve never tuned an ATS-V before.

Dood from New York found himself in that very situation in today’s Tapout Tune of the Week. After leaving his ATS-V with the first tuner things seemed hopeless because they could just not get his car to run right. That’s when Dood made the switch to Tapout so he could get his ATS-V back on the road again! After looking at a scan from his car we were able to make the necessary corrections with our own Remote Tune so that his car could be the animal on the streets it was meant to be! “This guy is the God of ATS-V tuning” Dood said. Tapout Tune of the Week!

Circumstances are always improved when we have options. It gives us the ability to determine the best way forward and can help to put things in perspective. In the tuning world this is no different, there are options. What’s important is that you consider the facts, because proven results don’t lie.

One fellow ATS-V owner was faced with such options in today’s Tapout Tune of the Week. Bill from Oklahoma was in the market for a tune and knew there were a few different avenues which we could take.
