Tapout Tuning Secures the #5 Spot in the Quarter Mile Rankings!

We want to congratulate Dave Bowen of California for securing this spot and becoming our quickest Tapout Tuning Customer! In his 2017 ATS-V with New Era intake, full 3″ exhaust with 200 cell cats (+500 cfm each), methanol injection and a Tapout Tune, Dave ran a 10.79 @127.45 mph. With that accomplishment Dave earned himself $300 cash from Tapout Tuning! Brian Chrestoff Moves up in the Quarter Mile Rankings!

Congratulations to Brian Chrestoff  for moving up six spots in the official quarter mile rankings! This weekend our friend Brian spent the perfect fall afternoon at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia, Ohio. On Sunday the conditions were set for a day of great racing and Brian’s timeslip certainly proves that.

In his 2016 ATS-V A8 with an intake, exhaust, spark plugs and a Tapout Tune Brian ran an 11.547 @ 120.81 mph. With that accomplishment Brian earned himself an additional $100 from Tapout Tuning after having won his first $100 by making it onto the official rankings list earlier this year.

It’s an exciting time as everyone is fighting their way to the coveted top spots in our official quarter mile rankings, and you never know who is going to move up the list next!

Own the First Prototype Integrated Dual Gauge Pod!

Tapout Tuning is proud to announce we have a prototype of the new dual gauge pod for Aeroforce Interceptor Scan Gauges. With nearly unlimited customizable options you can now have two gauges displaying all the information you would ever want to know about your ATS-V!

What we love about this gauge pod is that it is integrated into your factory defroster vent and directly replaces the factory piece. It does this while still allowing air to pass through, so you lose no functionality of that vent. Installing this gauge is as simple as popping out the factory vent and replacing it with the dual gauge pod.

Our Interceptor Scan Gauges can display more than 50 ATS-V parameters, two at a time (eight using cyclic scan), at an adjustable rate of up to approximately 20 times per second. A 5′ cable is also included with appropriate OBD2 connector. Gauges include a black bezel with a polished silver center ring and a black face as shown. An extra white face is also included and can be easily swapped since the bezel screws on/off. Optional black, polished silver and brushed silver bezels are also available.

The Need for Speed!

We have found that once you get a taste of what real power in a car is, all you want is MORE power. With a platform like the ATS-V, it is just begging to be released from its factory horsepower limitations. That was certainly the case for Mack from Texas, who after only three weeks of purchasing his new ATS-V decided he needed MORE POWER!
