Brown Belt ATS-V for the Win!

Franz from Maryland recently dropped his 2016 M6 ATS-V off for an upgrade from Purple to Brown Belt. He’s been in the shop several times before for upgrades, so we were happy to see him back to take things to the next level!

After installing Pure Stage 2 Plus Turbos and  ARP head studs, we also installed new Creative Steel shifter bushings to eliminate the slop in his shifter. Additionally, we installed a set of our Tapout downpipes as Franz wasn’t happy with the other brand of downpipes he had on the car.

We strapped his car to the dyno and after completing a Custom Tune, this ATS-V made an impressive 737 whp on E60 fuel! After taking his car for a test drive we were amazed with how nicely it drove. It’s like a new car, just with an extra 300+ whp it never had from the factory!

ATS-V Brown Belt Upgrades!

This customer shipped their pride and joy 2016 ATS-V cross country so they could get the full Brown Belt Package treatment. This is one clean ride and now they’ve got the power to match the looks! We created a flex fuel tune that will automatically scale fueling and ignition timing from regular pump gas to straight E85 and peaks at 636 whp. When that won’t get the job done, their custom Kill Tune produces a wicked 747 whp on E60 to E70 fuel!

Tapout Tune of the Week! – Dave’s CT4-V Blackwing JB4 Tune

Dave dropped off his sweet M6 2023 CT4-V Blackwing with a wicked cool metallic forest green wrap for our White Belt Package plus a Gigs ported throttle body with the JB4 tuner. He was interested in seeing the kind of gains the JB4 could produce, so before installing any modifications, we strapped Dave’s car to the dyno to see what kind of power his car was putting down. To our surprise, this CT4-V Blackwing baselined as one of the highest we’ve come across, making 432 whp.

After installing colder Brisk spark plugs, Gigs ported throttle body and the JB4 tuner, Dave’s car produced a respectable 488 whp! Those are some impressive gains for a few bolt-ons!
