V-Racing Top Gun Invitational 2023 Recap!

We’ve made the long trek back to the shop after our time at this year’s V-Racing Top Gun Invitational and were thrilled to have been there for support. It’s always great to see so many V-series cars in one place!

We’re happy to report that Michael Ray Franks took home the Cadillac V6 Pro Street Top Gun title with his super clean ATS-V! We’ve been working with Michael for several years as he’s continued to improve his ATS-V and we couldn’t be happier to see him take home the win! Stay tuned for more drag racing news as our local tracks begin to open and we can put the rubber to the road more often this summer!

V-Racing Invitational 2023!

It’s one of the best weekends of the year again as the Cadillac V-Club is hosting the V-Racing Top Gun Invitational at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas! The Tapout Team is currently on our way and we’re looking forward to a fun day of racing!

With five hours of TNT/grudge racing before the top eight class bracket finals, this is going to be an event jam packed with action from start to finish! Please understand that our email and phone responses will be slower than usual until we return from the event. Likewise, all orders placed will ship out upon our return.

We jumped online and did a remote dyno tune and produced another set of great results. ATS-V Blue Belt Performance Package and Dyno Tune!

Recently, Sal drove his M6 ATS-V down from Michigan to the Tapout Tuning shop for a complete Blue Belt Performance Package installation and dyno tune. His crystal white tintcoat ATS-V was incredibly clean and a pleasure to work on!

After Jorge completed his magic, we strapped his car to the dyno and got to work safely extracting all the power we could to totally transform this car. At the end of the day, Sal’s ATS-V produced 508 whp and is sure to provide many smiles to the gallon on his trip back home!
