When you drive a ten second Corvette and have a supercharged truck, you certainly can’t let your ATS-V lag behind in power. That being the case, Ken drove his 2016 A8 ATS-V to the Tapout Tuning shop all the way from Florida so it could remain competitive with his fleet.

Ken wanted to step things up to the Purple Belt Performance Package, so Jorge made quick work of installing all the necessary components. Once that was complete, Scott got to work finessing this LF4 on the Dyno. At the end of the day, the final numbers were 617 peak whp and 664 wtq using the industry standard SAE correction. With numbers like that, we certainly know that Ken’s got more horsepower in his garage than anyone else in the neighborhood!

Myron from Maryland just picked up a very rare 2019 ATS-V coupe in velocity red with low mileage. He drove it directly to Tapout Tuning with the temporary tags still in place and requested our most popular Purple Belt Performance Package.

It takes a special touch to really dial these ATS-Vs in safely while still producing excellent power, and that’s evident in Myron’s new 610 whp dyno chart. By the way, ported throttle bodies were on national backorder at the time, so he’ll be adding that piece of the puzzle later. These engines just love ethanol and it’s worth nearly 100 whp over pump gas. If that’s not encouragement enough to run the corn, then we don’t know what is!

“Good evening guys. I just had the white belt package from Tapout installed and i just wanted to rave about Scott and the guys over there. I’m in Texas and Scott has dealt with all my questions with ease. Car made 398 baseline and after the package 484. It was sorta muggy but my installer said it would prob get close to 500.
