We love hearing your thoughts on the improvements a tune can bring to your ATS-V. It’s also great to work with those who have tried their hand at tuning their own car. This platform is in a league all its own and can provide challenging for even the most experienced tuner.

Bruce in Texas gave tuning a shot on his ATS-V, and decided he wanted to work with us to get things dialed in even further. “The process was simple and clear, and Tapout Tuning is easy to work with remotely and very responsive. My V is making more boost, the throttle is staying open, and the A8 transmission shifts firmly”. Tapout Remote Tune of the Week!

Earlier this spring Cesar dropped by Exodus Performance in Texas for a partial Purple Belt Performance Package. He was still running factory intake, throttle body and catalytic converters at the time and made 546 whp.

This weekend Exodus added catless downpipes and strapped it back to the dyno. We continued dialing in the tune remotely and turned up the wick to 605 whp and 630 wtq. Next Cesar plans to have our carbon fiber intake and Gigs ported throttle body installed, so stay tuned!

CT4-V Blackwing Carbon Fiber!

We’re very excited to announce that we are now accepting pre-orders for a variety of CT4-V Blackwing carbon fiber! If you didn’t order your Blackwing with the carbon fiber package you are not able to order any carbon fiber components from GM, so we’ve got the solution.

Currently we are offering rear spoilers and dive planes (in both twill and forged glossy carbon fiber finishes), and also carbon fiber engine covers. We plan to have additional carbon fiber pieces available such as the front splitter available at some point in the future. All of these pieces include all OEM style mounting points so installation is a breeze. There’s just nothing like carbon fiber to really set your Blackwing apart from the crowd!

Another CTS-V Sport on our Dyno!

Any time we can have new customers in the shop we know it’s going to be a great day. When we see their excitement after completing a tune on their car it makes all of the effort worth it. There’s just something about making a car quicker and faster that never gets old, and it’s a high we all continue to chase.

Kevin recently drove his super clean 2015 CTS-V Sport to the shop for us to install our White Belt Performance Package. This includes colder spark plugs with smaller gaps, Intercooler Fill/Bleed Kit, and custom in-house dyno tune. This package resulted in vastly improved WOT fueling, more horsepower, and increased torque from 2,800 rpm on up!
