Ty from Michigan brought in his 2017 ATS-V in with temporary tags still in place for our Purple Belt Package and Mace Stage 1 cams. After completing the installation of all his go-fast parts, we got things ready on our Dyno to complete all the fine tuning. Once we completed a pump gas tune, flex fuel tune and Kill Tune, Ty was ready to roll with peak numbers of 616 whp and 634 wtq! Tapout Remote Dyno Tune of the Week!

Tommy from Texas had one of our popular Purple Belt Performance Packages installed by his local shop. Then, to really get things dialed he stopped in to see our friends at Exodus Performance for a Remote Dyno Tune session.

A couple hours later, and we had Tommy’s ATS-V cranked up to 618 whp and 606 wtq! Even while making huge power like that, our Tapout Tunes remain safe and reliable for your ATS-V. That means you can daily drive it to work, the track, or the dragstrip knowing full well that you have years of enjoyment ahead of you no matter where you drive!

Walking Away from Full Race Prepped Vipers and More!

For quite some time we’ve been working with Tom and his custom built composite body NP01-EVO in which he has installed a 2016 LF4 engine. He’s currently running our Gigs throttle Body, Tapout Stage 2 cams, springs and retainers, and Caddy Issues Turbos.

He races in NASA’s fastest class, called Super Unlimited, and when we tell you they don’t mess around, we mean it! After tuning, his car is producing 600 horsepower on 93-octane pump gas with 18 pounds of boost. All this wrapped up in a car that only weight 2,068 pounds dry, plus driver and fluids.

Check out the video of Tom’s first lap at VIR race, getting in some seat time and working through various issues, such as splitter shudder above 157 mph. We told you he does not mess around! His car sounds absolutely incredible, and as you can see in the video, no one can keep up with him. The other driver’s may as well have been sitting still!

We can’t wait to collaborate with Tom on this further as he works through the kinks and continues to add more modifications. This car RIPS, and if you every find yourself on the track with Tom, you better get used to seeing taillights.
