Tapout Tune of the Week!

One of the things we enjoy most is tuning ATS-Vs that are totally stock. The owners of these cars are usually impressed with their performance, but just like the rest of us they’re hungry for improvements.

Robert in Florida thought the stock performance of his ATS-V was decent, but it left him wanting more. We worked with him on a Remote Tune and the reaction he gave us speaks for itself. “The power of my 2016 ATS-V was OK from the factory but wow after it was tuned. Now it puts down 512 whp and 502 wtq. Couldn’t be happier!” It never fails to put a smile on our face when we can reignite the love owner’s have for their ATS-Vs!

Another In-House Dyno Tune Complete!

If you’ve already got your go-fast parts installed and want to see if you can get a little more out of your ATS-V, a dyno tune is the absolute best way to squeeze out as much power as possible. Plus it’s always fun to see your car make pulls right next to you!

Garrett from Michigan drove down for this very circumstance. He had and aftermarket intake and catted downpipes installed but the existing tune he had in the car was closing the electronic throttle and was going rich around 5,600 rpm. With our tuning on the dyno (blue lines) we were able to add 20 to 40 whp throughout most of the powerband!

Remote Dyno Tune of the Week!

If you have your heart set on getting your ATS-V dyno tuned on an actual dyno but can’t make the trip to the Tapout Tuning Headquarters, worry not! We do Remote Dyno Tunes every week with dyno shops all over the country and the world.

A shop we regularly work with for Remote Dyno Tunes is Exodus Performance in Austin, Texas. Recently, we worked with them on Ben’s ATS-V that he purchased from Florida. With colder spark plugs and downpipes, we completed his remote tune that brought him up to 493 whp and 452 wtq with a beautiful powerband! Ben sent us a great picture of his V coupe and after his tune he let us know, “I’ve been loving every second of it! Such an amazing car that sounds awesome!”. We’re happy he loves it and we hope he’s out driving it every chance he gets!
