We had another CT4-V Blackwing Atlanta Track Edition Car in the shop and this one got the upgraded turbo treatment. The previous Atlanta Track Edition car was serial number 017, and if you can believe it, this one was number 016!

The build on this car was more unique than most Brown Belt cars we build as this customer requested a special 100-octane tune and is running no ethanol. Because of that, this car is able to run its stock fuel system with no modifications. After completing the parts installation and dyno tuning, this CT4-V Blackwing put down 667 whp! And that was at the end of the summer when it was 105 degrees in the shop!

Rick drove his M6 CT4-V Blackwing Atlanta Track Edition all the way from Maryland to the Tapout Tuning shop for our complete Purple Belt Performance Package. As the name suggests, Rick enjoys his time on the track and wanted the power to back up the handling capabilities his Blackwing has in spades.

After completing all of the necessary modifications and getting his car strapped down to the dyno, this Blackwing produced 613 whp!

Johnny was at the Tapout shop last summer for us to complete a Purple Belt Performance Package on his ATS-V. At that time, we noticed that power dropped off pretty hard on the top end. We’ve seen this before and it’s a telltale sign of weak valve springs. We reduced his RPM range to eliminate any unnecessary strain, and the car still made excellent power.

Fast-forward to this summer and Johnny was back to upgrade to the Mace Stage 1 camshafts and valve springs. Peak power increased by 12 whp and top end power gains were HUGE at 79 whp! Not only that, it was 102 degrees in the shop when we completed this dyno tuning.

This customer purchased a super clean 2016 ATS-V that already had Purple Belt equivalent parts installed, but because he didn’t know a lot of the history on the car, he wanted to have us check things over and give it a fresh dyno tune.

He drove all the way to Ohio from Virginia so he could get Jorge’s magic ATS-V touch! After a fresh set of spark plugs and strapping it down to the dyno, it put down a solid 602 whp on E65 fuel. While he’s no stranger to horsepower having several V8s already in his stable, this ATS-V still packs a big punch on the streets!

Another 700 WHP monster! This ATS-V is sporting our Brown Belt Package and made 714 WHP in the summer heat, still running stock compressor inlets. There’s more on the table for this customer when he’s ready!
