Today I joined the Purple Belt gang. If anyone is on the fence about this package, just do it!! On the test drive, I couldn’t stop laughing. I was in disbelief that my V could be so quick and pull so damn hard… Really nice meeting Scott and Jorge too. It’s evident that each of them have a passion for this platform, which is why I believe they’ve made so much progress in the last 12 months. Happy to give them my business. Car finished at 613/625 on E52.

I bought Tapout downpipes and did an online tune with Scott, and the results were remarkable. Amazing product quality and great power and drivability from the tune.

I purchased a tune from Scott back in 2018.  Back then I was amazed at the power increase over stock.  Since then I have graduated to the ever popular purple belt package.  Without a doubt the best automotive experience, from ordering the parts and shipping the same day to the awesome team and people willing to help solve issues and push a platform forward.

Scott reinvests back into the platform and continues to develop new products and tuning strategies rather than copy and paste.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Tapout headquarters and let me tell you, Scott is a world class host.  You not only get the best ATS-V service in the world but you have to hit the mats for some Jiu-Jitsu training as well.  My car may be a strong purple belt but I am a very weak white belt.

Scott will take the time to explain what and why he is altering each revision of your tune.  He ensures safety remains number one, but somehow still extracts some outrageous power out of this little 3.6 LF4 engine. Thank you Scott and Tapout team.

Scott tuned my 2017 ATS-V, and the difference is amazing!  The car was quick stock, now it requires much more forethought when you get on it.  It’s easy to run out of road, or brakes now.  No issues with the tune, just lots more power!

Four weeks later Joseph sent us an update:

Ran the crap out of my car for four days.  No issues at all.  Oil temp got to 240, but the car never missed a beat.  I was not gentle at all.  Thanks for the safe, powerful tune!

I just got my car back from Scott and the fellas at Tapout.  My car was completely stock, with absolutely nothing done to it before they got their hands on it.  I went to them to get their Purple Belt Performance Package along with their upgraded Carbon fiber driveshaft and also stepped it up to their Mace Stage 1 cams with upgraded springs and retainers set to support my full E85 set-up!  I got everything I could to make this thing eat up just about anything out there and let me tell you.  Wow..oh wow!!!

This thing is a complete animal now!  The sheer power and torque this thing makes now is insane.  It puts a smile on my face from ear to ear every time, and I can’t help to have fun with it every time I get the chance.  It’s crazy to think that this thing is this powerful with the stock factory turbos!!!  The tune is so crisp and smooth I can’t see feel or see anything bad from it.  I monitor my A/R’s via wideband gauge and its perfect even on pump gas!  Scott truly is the definition of an awesome person hands down!  Super nice guy that gives u all the tips and advice on what to look for, what to help you to get better at driving these cars, and overall his impeccable attention to detail to his work is amazing!

I had an amazing time visiting them, meeting everyone seeing the car in action in person, seeing my final HP numbers in person.  It truly was a dream come true for me, and was the best experience for me and my car.  How cool is to say to all your friends, I had lunch with the owner/ tuner Scott, technicians Jorge and Bob, and customer service representative Michael when we took a break from tuning midday!??  Yea I’d say my trip to Tapout Tuning was an awesome success and the best experience me and my car had!  I will never take or let anyone touch my car other then the team at Tapout.  Thanks Tapout Tuning!!!
