New M6 ATS-V Shifter Bushings!

Those of you who drive an M6 ATS-V are probably familiar with the sloppiness that has come about with your shifter. It just flops around when in gear and nobody’s got time for that. You are driving a Cadillac after all.

Tapout Tuning is very happy to announce we now carry extremely high quality replacement bushings from Creative Steel! These new units are made of bronze so they will not wear out prematurely like the OEM plastic bushings do. This kit includes  the bronze bushings for the shifter and machined Delrin bushings to replace the plastic OEM units at the transmission end of the shifter linkage as well.

Now you can bang shift through the gears again knowing you aren’t going to have any more slop or annoying noise when you leave behind whoever was foolish enough to race you.

Paul’s Purple Belt Performance Package Installation!

It’s always great to see customers who pick up their ATS-V one day and are ready to crank things up with a Tapout Tuning the next. Even more so with our Purple Belt Performance Package. It has everything you need to really get things cookin’.

Paul just purchased a beautiful 2018 ATS-V A8 sedan with only 10,000 miles on the clock. (How did he score such a sweet deal??) With temporary tags still on the car, he drove it to our shop to have our Purple Belt Performance Package installed. His final Dyno number were an impressive 605 whp and 640 wtq on E56 fuel!

What made Paul even happier was that his tune aspect of the Purple Belt Package was discounted because he switched over to Tapout from another tuner where he was only making 372 whp and 420 wtq on 93 octane pump gas. When we flashed the car back to stock he made 391 whp and 424 wtq on 93 octane pump gas! That just goes to show how important it is to have the right tuner. Tapout Tune of the Week!

We’re always looking to add more horsepower wherever we can, and that means sometimes tuning vehicles other than the ATS-V. We can actually provide tunes for several types of Cadillacs including ATS-Vs, 2014 – 2019 CTS V-Sports and XTS-Vs!

Ernest in Indiana has a 2014 Cadillac CTS V-Sport and wanted to increase his performance to the level he knew it was capable of. So we brought him to our in-house Dyno to make all the safest tuning improvements we could. After his day on the Dyno Ernest said, “He has done an outstanding job tuning the car, making it feel more alive and healthy”. It was a great experience for us to get to spend more time with a car we don’t tune as often. We were just as happy as Ernest was that we could do so. “Scott’s service is over the top and I would trust him with my vehicles anytime!”. There’s just nothing better than seeing our customer’s excitement when we finish a tune. It never gets old!

Anthony’s Purple Belt Package Install!

This week at the Tapout Tuning shop we installed another one of our famous Purple Belt Performance Packages on Anthony’s ATS-V. He drove his car all the way from Missouri just so we could work our magic. This package is the safe and reliable way to push your ATS-V to 600 whp and beyond depending on your ethanol content.

Running an E blend is such a great and simple way to add more power. Our Flex Fuel kit makes it a worry free experience because our tune will automatically adjust for E0 through E70 depending on what you’re running when you fill up. We’ve done more flex fuel tunes than we can count and it’s no wonder when you can make that kind of power running the corn!
