Today both our Tunes of the Week come to us from Illinois and both could not be more thrilled with how well their Tapout Tuned ATS-V’s are performing!

Paul had no previous experience with tuning and he was able to easily follow along with our Remote Tuning process. Before long he was tearing it up on the streets and expressed to us how happy he was with the results. “My car wants to go and she does! If you are on the fence about doing this, don’t wait!! You will not be disappointed! Scott is the ATS-V whisperer!”

And Jason has had fast cars in the past but was amazed with how well a six cylinder could perform after it had been Tapout Tuned. We actually worked with Jason’s local shop to install some aftermarket parts he had purchased before we begun the tuning process. The shop was having difficulties so Jason was frustrated. We were able to talk his shop through it and they got everything successfully installed. Jason was really appreciative when we helped with parts he didn’t even purchase from us and our tune made things that much better. “The tune is customized to my exact cars unique behaviorisms, and the end results are truly and simply amazing!”

Tapout Tune of the Week!

Many of our customers come to own their ATS-V after having a variety of performance or tuned cars. That being said, they are familiar with what makes a good tuner and what makes a bad one.

Ryan in Germany has had many tuned cars in the past so he was careful in making his decision on who he would allow to tune his ATS-V. Tuning Adjustments When You Need Them!

HUGE shout out to Scott Cook for putting together a big tune adjustment for me to take on my friends Hellcat Widebody Saturday night. Scott had exactly 60 minutes of time to make some changes to give my car an “edge”.

In the end the Hellcat Widebody race went down and the ATS-V beat it every time from a stop, but couldn’t quite hold it off from a 45 mph roll race. Right around 120 mph the Hellcat would charge right past the ATS-V and I’d shut it down about 125 mph and he would be 2-3 cars in front of it.

Pre-BOOSTane Tune, the Hellcat was fetching the ATS-V by 100 mph from a stop race and would put about 6-7 cars on it by 125 mph when I would shut it off.

So, to recap, it was a LOT closer, but the Hellcat would just pull it down in the end. (Hellcat is 100% stock)

That’s a big improvement and something I really appreciate from Scott Cook. I’m very blessed to be a Tapout customer.
