Tapout Low Pressure Fuel Pumps!

Stock ATS-V fuel systems are already starting to have difficulty keeping up above 500 whp. On every ATS-V we tune we see fuel pressure drop as we turn up the boost. The more boost we add, the worse the problem gets. Tapout Tuning is here to resolve those issues and we can provide the support for all your fueling needs!

We offer two different stages of Low Pressure Fuel Pumps designed to satisfy a wide range of applications. The Tapout Stage 1 and Stage 2 LPFPs will help to prop up your entire fuel system, compounding the gains of aftermarket high pressure fuel pumps and/or fuel cams. The best part? There is no special tuning required for our LPFPs.

The Tapout Stage 1 LPFP will support up to 675 whp on regular gasoline and the Stage 2 LPFP supports up to 950 whp on gasoline and 675 whp on E85. These are the fuel pumps that can make your horsepower dreams a reality and we are here to support that every step of the way.

At Tapout we like to keep you on the edge of your seat, excited for the new products and offerings we continue to release. But maybe a better explanation would be that Tapout likes to keep you pushed back into your seat with the hellfire speed our Tapout Remote Tunes produce.

However, a disclaimer: Tapout Tuning is not responsible for making your girlfriend mad because our tune made your ATS-V too fast. Just ask Bill in Oregon. “I can’t thank Scott enough for the great tune and amazing customer service. Always helps, never seems bothered to help you understand anything about the process or tune itself. Only issue is… girlfriend isn’t happy, she says he made the car too fast!” I guess that’s the risk you take with a Tapout Tune. It just might make your ATS-V too fast!

Doing it Right

Here at Tapout we were excited to introduce a new product this week. The manufacturer estimated power gains of seven to ten horsepower across the powerband. This product would have been affordable, easy to install and produce solid power gains. So we ordered one up, took some pictures and drafted a nice featured page for our website. Then we found a dyno tester. We spent a full eight hours on the dyno testing this product from every angle. But no matter what we did, there were no power gains to be had. In fact, we actually LOST horsepower and torque across the board.

We could have sold this product without making any performance claims at all. If we fabricated a bunch of data and used some buzzwords it would have sold very well and no one would have known better. But that’s not how we roll. We do what’s right, and what we feel is best for the community. We test our products, and are careful to provide accurate test data. So if you like the way we operate, we’d be proud to have you join the Tapout Takeover.

Tapout Tune of the Week!

It’s not uncommon for some of our customers to be new to the tuning world. We welcome the opportunity to assist in this process because we want to be your resource for all things ATS-V. Our team has pretty much seen it all so never hesitate to ask us if you have questions!

Tony in Oklahoma had some difficulties with the Remote Tuning process so we spent some extra time working with him to find a solution.
