Chris from North Carolina dropped his ATS-V off at our shop for installation of our Purple Belt Performance Package, plus Turbobay turbochargers and our Stage 2 valve springs, retainers, and camshafts. After installation and dyno tuning, peak numbers were 638 whp and 626 wtq using SAE correction factor. Most people would be satisfied with these numbers, but not Chris. He asked what we could do to get his numbers into the stratosphere above 700 whp. We recommended Caddy Issues turbochargers and he gave us the green light. So we swapped turbos and strapped the car back to the dyno. The car never even left our shop. With the same tank of E60 fuel, the same WGDC and on the same dyno, Chris’ ATS-V picked up 100 whp in the meat of the powerband at 5,500 rpm!

We continue to get ATS-Vs shipped to us from all across the country, and it’s the perfect time as the cold weather limits the amount of time we can get out onto the road and the track.

This particular customer’s car was sent to us from Texas for our Purple Belt Package and Tapout Stage 2 Cams and Springs. We originally designed these cams to be used in conjunction with our much more powerful Caddy Issues turbos, however, with stock turbos they still produce an excellent powerband and sounds incredible! Notice how this car makes 575 plus whp all the way form 5,000 to 6,700 rpm. For sure it’s one of the scariest cars we have ever driven!

After installation and tuning, this customer then proceeded to drive all the way back to Texas with no issues. That’s because Tapout knows just how to tune an ATS-V for maximum performance without sacrificing reliability!

At long last, Tapout Tuning is extraordinarily excited to announce that Caddy Issues Turbos are now available! These 700 whp, nine second drop-in replacement turbos for your ATS-V are the answer to all your horsepower prayers.

OEM LF4 turbos can support upwards of 640 whp and we thoroughly tested every other available aftermarket turbo on the market to find the best performer. In our testing of makes such as, SoCal, Pure and Turbobay, each turbo performed within one to two percent of OEM.

With Caddy Issues turbos, we currently have 13 ATS-Vs that put out an average of 715 whp and 740 wtq with dyno validated SAE numbers! Not only are Caddy Issues turbos the most powerful upgrade turbos available for the LF4/LF3, but they spool incredibly fast and have virtually no lag. With these turbos your ATS-V will be the most badass, loudest, most adrenaline pumping, tire screaming, hell raising, fists of fury intimidator on the track or the street.
