I went to Tapout for their remote tune service and I was blown away by the care and attention I was given by Scott.  Tune improvements were sent within minutes and the whole process was so easy and straightforward with detailed instructions provided.  My ATS-V is a beast now and is finally at its peak performance.

Once I narrowed my new car search down to the ATS-V I researched the performance market and ran across Scott.  He was helped me to find the right car and connected me with some really good people in the Tapout family that I eventually met at the Cadillac Attack event in Orlando.  It was apparent how helpful, friendly and just good people the entire group was.  Shortly after the event, I purchased my M6 sedan and fast forward to now I started off with the White Belt package.  The tuning process was very simple, safe, step by step with the big picture in mind of “overall owner satisfaction”.  This is what the Tapout team delivers and that is why they are the best in the business.  As far as the tune itself Scott’s first step was to ensure that the car was in good condition, and then we worked together as a team over several hours to get the car to a point where the turbos delivered more and instant boost while driving better than it did stock, which I contribute to Scott’s attention to detail and belief in excellence.  The results say it all.  If you are looking for the best and quality performance for your ATS-V Tapout is the way to go.

I was not a fan of remote tuning ‘til I ran into Scott and his team, but now for this car I have changed my mind!  Working with the Tapout Tune team is like family.  Customer service is on point, tunes and corrections wouldn’t take two or three days but like in hours! Local shop had my car for two days and still couldn’t get my ATS-V riding right.  I more than happy with my car now and looking forward to work with the Tapout Team again on future mods!!  Thanks again!

When I first got my ATS-V I knew that I wanted to unleash the full potential from it.  Being in the automotive industry as a Cadillac Technician I knew what I wanted and what was realistic.  I had sent three emails to three different companies one morning regarding their process for tuning my LF4.  LITERALLY within five minutes I had an email response from Scott, and this was at 6 a.m. my time.  We went back and forth that whole day until around 8 p.m., me asking questions, him answering them.  30 emails later I made my decision to purchase the Tapout package.  Anyone that will take time out of their day to respond to my questions ATTENTIVELY and without expecting anything in return will always receive my business.  I hadn’t even bought anything and he was responding like I was a longtime customer.

The process was straightforward and the instructions were extremely clear with the remote tune process.  Anytime I had questions Scott was there to answer them and help me through it.  The White Belt package is definitely the best way to start.  It took about one week from stock to Tapout tuned.  Whenever I would send Scott my log file I would expect it to take some time for him to go over it, but NOPE, within two hours he would have a revision for me with details on what was changed.

I had a weird hesitation in my car’s shifting towards the end of the revisions and Scott and I went back and forth brainstorming what it could be.  He had me play around in HP Tuners with the stock transmission calibration.  Preface: I know enough but not nearly as much as him.  I found what worked best for my car’s shift scheduling and he more than gladly put my changes into my Tapout tune file so that I would have one complete package.  I have since asked him what are my next steps to achieve more and he has laid out a clear path for my next steps.  I will only purchase my LF4 performance parts from Tapout Tuning and will continue to do so for as long as I own this car.  I cannot wait for what’s to come and the potential that Scott will uncover from this platform.  He is so passionate, knowledgeable, and has the best customer service skills I have ever come across in a small business.

I’ve owned a few turbo cars in the past and there’s always been something left out by the OEM builders.  But what Scott was able to turn my ATS-V into with just a CAI, spark plugs change, and his enlarged throttle body is simply terrifying!

Stock the V is already a potent machine on the open road.  With basic bolt-ons, his tuning and parts advice, and the clear and color instructions that come with the parts from Tapout Tuning this V eats up the road.  I regularly walk away from Mustangs, Chargers and Challengers.

Scott has definitely done his homework and due diligence.  If you’re looking to turn a missile into a rocket ship don’t even hesitate to email Scott and send your business as well as questions his way.  His customer service and quickness to reply to emails even before I was a customer of his, showed me right away that I’ll be not only a customer and supporter of his, but also a fan!
