Just do it!  I am one of the most nit picky people when it comes to my car.  Scott ensured that everything was 110% before finalizing the tune.  Now my car is much more powerful and responsive than stock, and it has almost ZERO knock.  The stock tune has so much knock in comparison.  10/10 would recommend to anyone that wants to tune their ATS-V.  Scott’s competition can’t even complete with the service Scott provides.

First off I want to thank you for your excellent customer service.  So far the buying process has been easy with excellent communication.  But also I want to thank you immensely for your support for the community. I’ve been chasing low boost issues with my car and through searching old forum posts I came across your insights into manifold air temps and low heat exchanger coolant.  Which of course led me to the write up on your site on how to easily take care of it. Well sure enough it was full of air and your burping procedure worked wonderfully. The pump is running again, temps are down, and boost is back up!  Seriously thank you!

Scott is the one and only person I would ever let touch my car. He is very knowledgeable and his customer service is by far the best I have ever had. He always replies very quickly no matter what day or time. To take a car from 464hp to ~600hp and keep drivability equal to or better than factory is amazing. I recently made a 1000+ mile road trip in the car with everything from a drag strip to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta then on to Tail Of The Dragon and still averaged 25+ mpg with zero issues. Scott has turned the car into the best All-Around car I have ever owned. Don’t hesitate any longer, Tapout Tuning is the way to go!

I’ve owned a few performance cars over the years and my 2016 Frost White ATS-V is my favorite by far. When I bought it I new there a few quirks I was going to have to get used to, especially with the A8 transmission. I knew a tune would be in my future, and I’ve always been methodical in my research, I knew when the time came Tapout Tuning would be the only one I’d allow to tinker with my cars inner workings. Scott is widely known for his customer service, tuning ability, and his passion for this platform.

The future came today. After winning the #TurkeyTune giveaway, I finally found a few hours to reach out to Scott and get the process started. That was a few hours ago. Now, I’m done and there is a completely different beast sitting in my garage. With just a few emails back and forth, some step by step data logging, and a minor revision, my car feels like it should have from the factory. And I mean that, Scott’s tune doesn’t sacrifice anything for power. My driveability, gas mileage, drive modes, are all there. The car just drives better, has more power and shifts like I expected it to before I bought it. If this car would have come from the factory like this then Cadillac would have a line out of the door! Crisp shifts, power everywhere, and so much fun that I find myself looking for an excuse just to go for a drive.

The process was quick and easy and even though I won this tune for free, it is worth every penny he asks for his tune, and then some. I will probably have some more mods in the near future, and each one will be accompanied by a revision to this amazing tune.

Scott put a fantastic tune on my ATS-V. Throttle response is a lot smoother and it now pulls hard even from the low end. While adding power, the tune actually made the car a lot better to drive everyday due to the smooth power band. While stock it was a lot of fun, and it has better all around performance now. It even shifts better being an A8 due to the smoother powerband.

And what can be said about Scott’s service! He has been excellent to work with. I received the software Friday night so I started scanning and sending info to Scott Saturday morning, not really expecting to hear back until Monday. However, Scott responded early Saturday and we worked through the installation and testing that day. There were a couple of fine tuning issues due to aFe dry filters but Scott looked at the scans right away and made the tweaks to run better.

Overall, Scott with his patience and responsiveness made this a great experience since I have had no prior tuning history. I cannot recommend Scott’s work enough!
