Tapout Tuning helped me take my 2017 ATS-V from good to great!  The ATS-V has some of the best chassis dynamics and styling of any modern GM sedan.  It is incredibly comfortable on the race track as it is on the street and when you drive the car on and off the track you often say to yourself, like every car enthusiast does… “Wow this car would be GREAT with another 100 horsepower!”.  Well, Tapout Tuning made this a reality, with ONLY a tune!!!  The extra power is great driving around town or scooting around Circuit of the Americas.  The reliability of the car has not changed, the drivability however, has improved GREATLY!  As with all things, we had some challenges with my car that were very unique and uncommon.  Scott worked OVERTIME to make sure he got my car tuned and as it turned out my car had a boost leak from the factory that was very hard to detect.  Once we fixed that problem, everything was amazing and again the physical issue with my car turned out to be a loose clamp and had nothing to do with Tapout’s tune.

I’ve worked with tuners before.  They are typically distant, hard to reach, not helpful and blame everything that goes wrong either on the car or the end user.  But NOT Tapout.  They were with me every step of the way and this made me confident as we moved through all the different possible ways to fix the problem that I had.

Now the car is just a blast to drive on the street and on the race track, WATCH OUT!  It was easy to hang with 911 GT3s on R-comp tires on Circuit of the America’s and the M3s and C63s that day didn’t have a chance.  I’m so happy with the car, it would be hard to imagine driving something else other than a tuned ATS-V.  I could NEVER go back to stock power, stock boost curves and laggy transmission response.

I would highly recommend those on the fence to go with a Tapout Tune and make their good ATS-V, GREAT!

This is my first time experiencing a remote tune, and I will be honest I was a little hesitant at first. Scott laid everything out easily so I could follow step by step and in no time the car was tuned I can’t believe how much smoother and more powerful the car is!

Scott has been very helpful throughout the whole process, even replying late at night and on weekends! We did stumble upon some transmission tuning issues that even Scott scratched his head at, and in no time they were resolved! Love the communication and results, I will continue to send business Scott’s way and continue to have him make adjustments down the road as I keep modifying the car!

Scott has been absolutely amazing. My first dealings with Scott was his helping me diagnose an issue with my car before I was even tuned by Tapout. I originally had my car tuned elsewhere when I had my first mods installed and was not impressed by a 12.3 (sec) outing at the track. After becoming a little jealous of seeing other times I decided it was time for a change.

Scott going out of his way to help me went a long way in making my decision on where to go for tuning. After going with Scott and adding a wideband to improve my tune I instantly dropped over half a second on my quarter mile and with some help from higher octane knocked a full second off my PB. Scott has been extremely helpful and responsive every step of the way and through every new mod I do. I couldn’t be more satisfied with his results, but even more importantly with the respect he has for his customers and the outstanding service he provides.

Scott is a real professional guy, very helpful with a friendly touch.  When you speak with him, you will feel like you been talking with him forever.  This was my first experience with a remote tune!!  I first thought that it was not easy but he just made everything easy.  He gave really fast responses and always with an updates tune or recommendations!  That means that he really take care of you.  It is not like he just sends a tune and that’s all.  He has been working on my car now for about one week and he is still editing and getting the car better and better.  So far the car is a beast!!  If you think your V comes from factory like one you are really far away from what you can really feel after Tapout takes care of you!!  I will always recommend Scott and Tapout Tuning!!!!!!

Where do I start? When I contacted Scott about tuning my V, I was very hesitant about the entire process, especially since I never tuned a car before.
