I’ve been a car enthusiast for over 25 years having various Cadillacs, Corvettes, Firebirds and trucks. With this, comes experience with countless performance shops for parts and occasional mechanical assistance. Few, if any, have rivaled the service from Tapout.

I purchased the LT4 PD3 performance package and various other parts for my 2023 CT5-V Blackwing M6. Scott was available from the start to answer multiple questions about the package and helped guide me on exactly what I needed for my intended power goals. He even dissuaded me from purchasing certain parts he deemed unnecessary for my goals. The only thing faster than Tapout’s processing and shipping were Scott’s responses to emails! I installed most of the parts within a few days, but had a hiccup with the ECM unlock process with HP that delayed the build. Scott went out of his way to facilitate everything being handled appropriately by HP until all of my ECM issues were resolved even though this wasn’t his responsibility.

Scott provided me a base remote tune after the cam install and the car ran absolutely fantastic. I had a C7 z06 with a very similar build, but the Blackwing feels so much more responsive, smooth, maybe faster, and is an absolute blast to drive. I would have been satisfied there, but after reviewing multiple logs, Scott worked a few more tunes to get everything dialed in perfectly. By perfect, I mean the car feels and drives almost completely stock despite the fact it has a fairly aggressive cam. The car is fast, fun and potentially my favorite to date.

Tapout treats you like family, their support is unrivaled and their service is unrivaled. They set the standard not just with the LF4/LT4 platforms, but the entire industry.

I just installed Tapout Tuning Carbon Fiber Splitter on my Non carbon CT4-v blackwing. Fitment was perfect and real simple to install. With my lift it made it even easier. I have bought a lot of carbon parts in the past but this stuff was top notch.

I made the ride to Tapout Tuning earlier this week and was very impressed with the level of service and communication I experienced from start to finish.  My visit began with meeting Jorge in the shop and talking about the various vehicles they had there including Scott’s dad’s GTO and several CT4-V Blackwings and ATS-Vs that were on site.  I received a tour of their state of the art shop and then met Scott in the office to go over final instructions.

I had two unexpected exhaust leaks when I arrived that I pointed out to them.  I had asked them to go through my car and some other minor issues were identified such as a damaged charge pipe hose and some vacuum line routings that were corrected.  Every step was communicated to me across the two days my car was there.  Tapout went above and beyond for me and I wound up with a car that runs great, idles great, shifts well and hauls ass!!  The end result was a 497 whp dyno pull SAE corrected.  Thats on catted downpipes!!  I am very pleased and would highly recommend Tapout to anyone for their tuning and mechanical needs.

I recently installed the Velosa Tech ram air intake system, did a log and sent it to Scott.  The car is now producing more boost and is quicker than before.  Last night I was out with a friend of mine who owns a BMW M4 Competition xDrive G82 (bolt on and E85 tune over 750+ whp).  There was also a random Porsche GT3 RS.  My ATS-V did great easily holding its own against both cars up to 130 mph on the highway.  I currently have Tapout Tuning’s Blue Belt Performance Package with the Velossa Tech ram are intake.  For the price I definitely feel a difference.  Thank Scott and Tapout for helping me build this amazing car!
