The Perfect Tune for Your ATS-V!

When it comes to tuning your ATS-V, Tapout wants to make sure you have all the right resources to begin the tuning process. We offer several different options depending on your preference and current ATS-V setup.

If you are starting from a stock ATS-V, and don’t already own HP Tuners, start with our Remote Tune Plus. This gets you everything you need for remote tuning services. We review the scan data from your stock tune to ensure your intercooler and fuel system are functioning correctly. Next, we add all Tapout tune edits, custom tailored for your modifications and fuel octane.

We then have you scan you car at various levels, verifying everything is nice, solid and safe. From there we review the scan data and continue making small edits until you love every aspect of your tune and we love every aspect of the data logs. This typically takes one to three edits; however, we will do as many updates as it takes to dial your tune in perfectly. If you’d like to go a step further, you can purchase one of our popular monthly tuning subscriptions which many customers use for wideband tuning, race fuel tuning and when they install additional mods. Tapout Tuning Breaks Records at Cadillac Attack in Orlando, Florida!

This weekend Tapout cars were on the attack at the Cadillac Attack event in Orlando, Florida. Five Tapout tuned cars showed up at the event and all five set new personal best times!

John Kelly ran 11.316 @ 119.49 mph, earning 8th place in the Modified Category.

Brandon Downhour ran 11.244 @ 123.02 mph on stock tires, qualifying him for 4th place in the rankings.

Robbie Kern ran 11.131 @ 122.58 mph for 2nd place.  It should be noted that Tapout tuned cars now hold six of the top twelve spots in the Modified division.

Jorge Munoz ran 10.881 @ 125.48 mph, with octane boost, weight reduction and tune.  He has become the first person to be listed on all three rankings charts (Stock, Modified and Anything Goes) simultaneously.

Justin Adams and Justin Meador ran 10.802 @ 127.35 mph, solidifying their 6th place spot in the Anything Goes category.

Of course, the finals came down to Tapout versus Tapout in this epic match-up between Jorge and the Justin’s in what turned out to be the fastest ATS-V duel in history.

The Best an ATS-V Can Be!

One of the exciting aspects of tuning is that there is always more to learn. New information becomes available and we learn better ways to improve efficiency and performance. Many of our customers benefit from this new information through the use of our Tuning Subscriptions. These provide access to our tuning services which include scan data analysis, performance modification, racing recommendations and tuning adjustments.

Dave, our customer and friend from California recently purchased a Remote Tune and has gained access to our most recent tuning advancements. We completed his tune using a local dyno with wideband logging through HP Tunes VCM Scanner to maximize the performance of his ATS-V. Prior to his recent dyno tune, the car has run a best quarter mile time of 10.776 @ 127.73 mph. Dave’s current modifications include intake, methanol injection, spark plugs and exhaust with catalytic converters still in place. His car is an absolute powerhouse, and there’s nothing we enjoy more at Tapout than taking ATS-V’s to the next level.
